Safety Buddy - We advocate a behavioural approach to safety were everyone has a safety buddy.
This is a close work colleague or team operative who are given responsible for the safety of an individual during the working day. If they see a unsafe activity involving their Safety Buddy they must intervene. From simple tasks such as using a grinder with no guard or googles to watching a vehicle reverse with no traffic control, it only takes a moments thought to stop an injury or death.
