The coming event will focus not only on topics related to issues of new railway systems, intermodal transportation, further development of infrastructure and transit corridors between East and West, but also on modern logistics solutions, backing for global cooperation or the plan of Russian Railways development until 2050.

A support for the IRFC 2013 was already expressed by Mr. Siim Kallas, Vice-president of the European Commission, as well as by top representatives of international organizations led by UIC, OSŽD, UNIFE and EIA.

The UIC European Management Committee (EMC) has accepted the invitation of the IRFC organizers to hold its meeting within the conference.
