Rail and Metro: Latin America 2013
The Annual Meeting Place for the Latin American Rail and Metro Industry
Last June, an advisory board was held in São Paulo, including industry experts such as Fabio Tadeu Alves (Metrô de São Paulo) and Claudio Sumida (CPTM). They discussed the unparalleled levels of governmental investment, resulting in rapid expansion, modernisation and the development of over 100 new transport infrastructure projects. Such extensive growth and upgrade plans have created complex strategic and technical issues.
The 3rd annual Rail and Metro: Latin America 2013 has become the annual meeting place for over 200 experts from across the region to uncover solutions, define best-practice strategies and address the needs of rail and metro experts.
New developments for 2013 include:
- Technical sessions define best practice strategies for integrating and enhancing the operational performance of signalling, telecommunications and rolling stock deployments
- Strategic case studies from heads of regional railways, metros, governments and international organisations will support infrastructure upgrades and greater international interoperability
- Dedicated networking and roundtable sessions will facilitate debate, cooperation and help establish valuable long term relationships
